IMPORTANT! In order to pass this course a student must meet all course obligations and pass a written final exit competency examination. If a student fails the written final exit competency examination, the highest grade that he/she can receive is a "D". A student who receives a final grade of "D" because of the written final exit competency examination, and who had received a midterm grade of "C" or better, may appeal this grade by completing an appeals form which is available in the departmental office. The appeals committee will review each case based on its merits and determine whether the student will be given an opportunity to retake the written final exit competency examination.
